Change is traditionally slow in a borders town, but sometimes when major developments happen, it’s quick – how does this look to the people involved.

This documentary aims not only to document Innerleithen’s transformation but also to serve as a powerful tool for community cohesion and an international showcase of the town’s unique history and character. This 60-minute documentary explores the rapid changes in a border town, Innerleithen, capturing the essence of growth, renewal, and pride through the stories of those involved, affected and invested in the past and future of Innerleithen.

We embark on a journey to understand and document the community’s response to significant developments, aiming to bridge communication gaps and foster a sense of unity amid change.

The film will incorporate interviews, B-roll footage, to provide a comprehensive visual narrative.
